Mrs D's Literature Programmes

Literature Programmes

Literature Unseen Poetry Programme
Practical Criticism or poetry appreciation is a challenge for most secondary students because of the highly analytical skills involved.  To approach the Unseen Paper with a degree of confidence, pupils should build a body of knowledge about poetry.  I have 3 very well-received modular Literature programmes which you will not find anywhere else (for 3 years running, parents from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) whose children in both the IB as well as O level programme have single-handedly formed classes for me):

For the Unseen Poem section of the Secondary Literature Exam as well as the International Baccalaureate exam pathway.

(recommended for Sec 2-4)

12 lessons of one and a half hours each over 6 sessions

The Lit Unseen Poetry Prog is useful for all secondary exam pathways in Singapore schools (the Literature and Language Arts Exams in the O/A Exam pathway as well the International Baccalaureate).
